At the moment, there isn’t. You can make your own custom sounds, so, for example, you could create one that beeps a few more times etc, but there is no built-in feature at the moment.

I don’t have a Mac at the moment, so that would make that somewhat difficult.

The source code is available here, and it’s released under GPL 3.0, so you’re welcome to port it if you want.

It’s written in C# using the Microsoft .NET Framework, though, so you’d really have to rewrite it yourself to get it to run on a Mac.

It's really simple and intuitive. I love it. Thanks for your effort. Don't you have any plan to make similar one for Mac OS? If you don't have time, could you allow me to port it?

@Gene: There is no way to pause the countdown at the moment. I’ll add the ability to pause and resume the countdown in the next update, but that might take a week or more at this point because I’m busy at work.

It took a while to find some free time to put that feature in, but Orzeszek Timer 1.2 now has an option to loop the timer automatically. You can download it here.

I’m glad you’re finding it useful.

There is no way to repeat or loop the timer without retyping the interval or restarting the app. I can see how that could be useful, and I’ll do an update soon that gives you an option to automatically repeat the timer when it finishes. Is that what you’re looking for?

Thanks! It was exactly what I was looking for in a timer. :)
Is there any way to repeat the countdown without re-typing the interval or re-starting the app?

Thanks again mate! :) I probably have to get things done as you've suggested. (previously I used embedded flash for countdown in ppt files but the timer is never accurate)

@Wen: I’m glad you like it, but I don’t think there’s any way to embed this app in a PowerPoint slide.

If you drag the .exe file directly onto a PowerPoint slide, you’ll get an icon that you can click on to start Orzeszek Timer (though you’ll get a warning dialog first). It won’t actually be embedded in the PowerPoint slide though.

Hi this is the best timer I've ever used, small and simple, which is all I am searching for. Thanks mate! Actually I am trying to embed your timer into my ppt file for a presentation, is it possible to be done? I opened control toolbox in powerpoint and try to pick up an activeX object for the timer to be inserted into a ppt page, but don't know which one should I choose from...

Do you have Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 installed? It’s required to run Orzeszek Timer.

If you do, and the error still comes up, could you send me a screenshot of the error to the e-mail shown on the About page?
